PayPal Mass Pay for international, ACH for US bank accounts. HeldSway picks the cheapest reliable rail per affiliate based on country and amount.

Minimum payout thresholds

Hold balances under $10 / $25 / $50 (your call) so wire fees do not eat the affiliate alive. Carry forward automatically until they cross.

Tax forms during signup

W9 for US affiliates, W8 for international. Collected, validated, and stored encrypted at the time of program signup — not the day before tax season.

1099-NEC filing

On Custom plans, HeldSway generates and e-files 1099-NEC forms with the IRS at year-end. Affiliates get their copy via the portal — no postal mailroom required.

Audit-ready payout log

Every run is exportable as CSV with the rule trace, the rail used, the fee, and the timestamp. Finance, legal, and the IRS all see the same source of truth.

    Link a PayPal Mass Pay account, an ACH source via Plaid, or both. HeldSway tests a $0.01 transaction to confirm the rails work before you go live.

    Set the cadence and threshold

    Choose when payouts run and the minimum balance. HeldSway holds anything below the floor and rolls it into the next cycle automatically.

    Review and approve (optional)

    Want a human in the loop? Toggle on approval mode and HeldSway pauses each run for your sign-off. Otherwise, payouts go out on schedule and you get the receipt by email.
